Job Description:
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Dining Room Server professional at a brand-new restaurant, The Grille at Bridgewater Crossing.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and answering any questions regarding ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take accurate and detailed orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages with precision, adhering to the restaurant's service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated dining experience.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, and special offerings to enhance guest experience.
- Set and maintain dining tables with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Process guest payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a server in a restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Uniform and dress code requirements.
- Complete the Ramp server seller course and ServSafe food handler course.
