Position: Part-Time Event Dishwasher

Overview:
The Willows Event Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Event Dishwasher to support our kitchen team during events. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in our back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using both the 3-bowl manual sink system and the automatic dishwashing machine.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean equipment.
- Take out garbage, recycling, and food waste in compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper sanitation before and after use.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with Department of Agriculture and internal standards.
- Support kitchen staff and event operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dishwasher, steward, or kitchen porter role preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time position; hours vary depending on event schedule.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
